Futures Manufacturing are looking for an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator for our engineering client, a market leader with a proud history of producing high quality workmanship and outstanding products.

Welder/Fabricator/MIG/Sheetmetal/mild steel//fabrication/

The successful applicant will join the team of welder platers, welding and fabricating a wide variety of components, mainly in steel using MIG welding equipment and pulse welding both with, and without the aid of a drawing.

You will spend majority of your time welding but must be prepared to dress your own welds afterwards with grinder etc, will be both sheet metal and heavier gauge mainly in stainless and mild steels.

You will build products and parts to the required standard and identify any variances in quality so that the necessary corrections are implemented

Requirements:

  • A positive and enthusiastic team member with a ‘can do’ attitude, who feels equally confident working independently.
  • At least 2-3 years MIG welding experience
  • Appropriate qualifications
  • Experience of delivering MIG work to a high standard
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
