Job Title: Welder Fabricator
Location: Leeds
Shifts: Days regular
Salary: 14.00 - 15ph
Metalis are currently in partnership with an engineering company who are on the lookout for two skilled welder fabricators to join their busy workshop.
Duties and responsibilities:
- MIG welding.
- Excavation and weld repair of finished, post machined casting defects.
- The welding of wear plates to components.
- Some general fabrication assembly work.
- To interpret basic engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded.
- Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output
Person Specification:
- Welding qualifications and experience in an engineering environment essential.
- Some Arc air experience required.
- General Mechanical Skills.
- Experience in using an angle grinder to polish components from time to time.
Shifts and Salary:
- Salary from 14.50 per hour to 16.00 following successful probation period.
- Days 07:30 - 4pm Mon to Thur - 06:00 - 14:00 Fri.
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent role.
