For the successful Bid Writer our client is offering:

  • Up to £45,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)

The role - Bid Writer: 

  • Support all divisions winning new work through the pre-qualification and tender process, writing responses to support our tender and commercial proposals.
  • Key support for the Group Bid Manager and Bid Administrator
  • Writing / editing of responses
  • Understanding business strategies to incorporate them into responses
  • Meeting timescales for delivery of work
  • Maintaining internal content
  • Communicating with colleagues throughout the business to gain information
  • Checking drafts for clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and formatting, and confirming that the response answers the question asked
  • Producing high quality documents and ensuring completed bids/proposals meet the bid specification
  • Excellent time management / prioritisation skills.
  • Forensic attention to detail and meticulous proof-reading skills.
  • Assisting colleagues with enquiries or content

What our client is looking for in a Bid Writer :

  • Experience working as a bid writer currently - ESSENTIAL
  • Knowledge / Exposure from the Construction industry (and related) - DESIREABLE
  • High English literacy competence
  • Academic background in a relative field or English /writing discipline - DESIREABLE
