This role can either be remote, or hybrid based out of the Leeds office. The Bid Writer will be instrumental in driving the growth of our company by creating compelling bids for new in the Business Services industry. This role is based in Leeds and requires a talented individual with exceptional writing skills and a keen understanding of customer needs.

Description

Responsibilities for the Bid Writer will include:

  • Prepare, write, and edit compelling bids and proposals
  • Carry out detailed research to understand customer requirements and industry trends
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop bid strategies
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information for bids
  • Ensure all bids comply with company and legal standards
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the bidding process
  • Track and report on bid outcomes and success rates
  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities

Profile

A successful Bid Writer should have:

  • 2+ years experience in a Bids related role
  • Experience in an in-house, or consultancy / agency bids role
  • An academic background in Business, Marketing, or a related field is desirable
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Experience working on public sector bids processes is preferred
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability in producing winning bids
  • Confidence in working with cross-functional teams
