Job Title: Assistant Fashion Designer
Location: Stoke-On-Trent/Leek (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £27,000 DOE
We're looking for a talented Assistant/Graduate Fashion Designer to join an exciting team. If you're keen to jump-start your career, this is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing seasonal collections, including trend research and mood boards.
- Support the development of licensed or in-house apparel designs from concept to production.
- Collaborate with suppliers, ensuring fabric and trim selections align with brand aesthetics.
- Stay updated on industry trends and consumer preferences to bring innovative ideas.
- Work with the design team to develop print and graphic placements.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Placement/Volunteering experience - preferable.
- Strong print skills and experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design software.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creativity, technical skills, and an eye for detail.
- Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes.
- Passion for fashion and awareness of industry trends.
