We are searching for a diligent Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in North Staffordshire. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing routine maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on our production machinery.

Description
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks in line with the schedule and undertake emergency breakdown repairs
- Following up tasks from PPM and order any spare parts required
- Ensuring compliance to Health and safety/food safety standards at all times
- Carrying out dynamic risk assessments in line with your daily tasks
- Maintaining and improving standards of hygiene and housekeeping in all areas of the factory including the engineering office and workshop
- Ensuring production lines are running in optimum condition
- Assisting in the installation of new equipment to the site
- Use and maintenance of the Mainsaver CMMS system
- Development and upskilling where applicable
- Providing both Reactive & PPM
- Working on a Variety of Kit Including Cheese cutting equipment (Block/portion/Sliced/Grated), Conveyors, Multihead Weighers, Packaging Equipment & Metal detectors
- Ensuring that equipment is set up and ready for shift start
4 on 4 off (2 Days 2 Nights) - 12 Hours
Profile
You will be an experienced Maintenance Engineer/Technician, with experience working in a food manufacturing environment, as well as:
- Recognised Engineering qualification (Minimum Level 3)
- Strong technical skills and the ability to diagnose and repair faults on a variety of machinery.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- A commitment to safety and quality.
