An opportunity for a skilled position in our small family ran business has arisen.
The ideal candidate would be from a textile or manufacturing background.
The job requires the employee to run a stenter, which is a fabric drying/ finishing machine.
Our production relies on this machine therefore it is imperative that close attention to detail such as quality checking is adhered to. Health and safety is also a priority when running this machine.
Full training will be given by our expert stenter operator.
The running of the machine has its complexities, meaning the ideal candidate will be one who takes due care and attention when operating machinery as well as one who is forward thinking and is able to take on own initiative.
Manual labour is also part of the running of this machine. You will be required to lift heavy loads ( lifting gear is available) and manually feed fabric into the machine which requires flexibility.
Should the right candidate be found and they are fully competent is using the stenter, pay will be reviewed.

Duties:
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team, and work to deadlines.
- Ensure that duties are carried out to the best of your ability.
- Routine inspection, and close attention to detail.
- Must be a quick learner, hardworking, reliable and committed.
- Responsible for keeping your work area tidy.
- Experience is preferred or full training will be provided to the right candidate.
