Carbon60 are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join a client of ours based in Leicester. This position is a 3 month contract.
Pay/Salary: 25,000/annum, 12.02/hour, no overtime
Working Hours/Shift Pattern:
- Can be flexible with choice of 08:30 - 17:00 or 08:00 - 16:30, Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week
Main duties & responsibilities: Training can be provided on role specifics
- Placing cash orders (for when account details/credit cards are unavailable)
- Placing online order received from internal branches
- Complete accurate backup documentation as required and sending order confirmations to necessary parties
- Paying invoices working on the backend processes - working with one other colleague specifically
- Contact suppliers to confirm if BACS or card payments and responding to queries
Essential skills / experience / qualifications:
- Administration experience in an office environment *** see notes
- Must show enthusiasm and willingness to learn and adapt to site procedures
- Competent IT Literacy skills - able to use MS Excel for basic skills (data entry)
- Outlook for professional correspondence (using access databases on-site and EOS (ERP System)
- Excellent communication skills - to use when speaking to suppliers for updates and queries, speaking to accounts teams (confirming invoice / BACS payments)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of workload within a team using a collaborative approach
