Production Accountant Leicester Interim - Outside IR35 £- NegotiableSF Recruitment are working with a brilliant manufacturing business who are looking for a Production Accountant to assist with the Production Accounting in Microsoft Dynamics. Our client is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join the team and assist the Management Accountant with Production Variance reporting as part of a new ERP implementation project. The ideal individual will be a proven interim professional with 3 or more years' experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central) within a manufacturing environment. The ideal Systems Accountant will have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders along with strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed gap analysis. Duties of the Production Accountant: - Understand and replicate Production variance reporting in our current ERP system (IFS), providing daily cover for the Management Accountant where required - Conduct a gap analysis to compare the production variance reporting functionalities of IFS and Business Central. Provide detailed insights and recommendations to bridge gaps and achieve a similar or improved level of reporting capability in BC (Dynamics) - Work closely with the Management Accountant, Financial Controller and Operations team to ensure alignment and integration of Production Accounting processes within BC - Assist in the implementation of Production Accounting processes within BC, ultimately ensuring a smooth transition from our current ERP system - Where required, provide ad-hoc support to the Management Accountant in month-end related activities Applied Skills, Knowledge, Experience - Minimum of 3 years of experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a manufacturing environment - Experience of stock management in Business Central is desirable - Experience of being involved with a new ERP implementation project is desirable - Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) is desirable
