Accounting and Assurance Professional | Leicester/Hybrid | £28,000-£35,000 DOE

It is my pleasure to assist in finding the perfect candidate for a fantastic accountancy practice, based in the centre of Leicester who are experiencing continual growth and looking to add to their existing team of qualified accountants.

What you will be doing?

  • Preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders & partnerships in a variety of different sectors
  • Preparing company and personal tax returns
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Possibility of some audit work.

This role will involve developing relationships with clients and could include working on site at client's premises from time to time.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

  • Have a minimum of three years practice experience
  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or AAT) or qualified by experience
  • Have management accounts experience
  • Good working knowledge of Xero & Sage
  • Confidence working with accounts preparation & tax software such as Iris
  • Audit experience an advantage but not a requirement
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft windows, word & excel.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Be highly motivated & commercially focused High level of attention to detail.
  • Skilled at dealing with people and have the ability to support and develop work colleagues.
  • Organised and deadline driven.
