Our client is an international, sub 1 billion turnover business based in Leicester City Centre looking for a permanent Assistant Management Accountant to join their friendly Accounting team.
As Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing and analysing the monthly management accounts
- Calculating bad debt provisions, accruals and prepayments
- Processing intercompany transactions and calculating bonus/commission provisions
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with financial analysis
- Understanding and commenting on the key drivers that impact the management reports
- Assisting with bugeting and forecasting
- Working closely with the Finance Business Partners and Management Accountants to reconcile queries
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will:
- Live within a commutable distance to Leicester City Centre
- Be part Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or intending to become qualified
- Strong IT skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, sumifs)
- Excellent communication skills
- Three years' plus relevant accounting experience within a fast-paced working environment
As Assistant Management Accountant, based in Leicester, you will be entitled to the following:
- £28,000 - £35,000 per annum
