Assistant Management Accountant - Leicester - Permanent - up to £30,000 per annum

Macildowie Finance are currently recruiting for a well-known, leading manufacturing business to recruit for an Assistant Management Accountant role on a permanent basis.

This business is a brilliant example of an employer who develops and progresses their employees; and are extremely keen to find a motivated and ambitious Part Qualified candidate who is looking for their next challenge.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for a junior candidate with a couple of years' experience, who is actively studying either ACCA/CIMA and wants to continue pursuing this qualification.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of weekly management accounts
  • Interpreting and explaining variances (labour & material)
  • Preparing weekly forecasts
  • Business partnering and interacting with various departments

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Part Qualified / studying ACCA/CIMA
  • Strong attention to detail & questioning ability
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes/environments
  • Ability to challenge across different levels
  • Strong communication skills

This business operates on a hybrid basis of 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.
