We are seeking a talented and motivated Audit Executive to join a Top 15 firm and its growing Leicester office. With a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from owner-managed businesses to large corporations, this role offers excellent opportunities to develop your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete audits in line with procedures, with support from senior team members as needed
  • Plan audits, identify potential challenges, and apply appropriate tests
  • Allocate work to junior staff and provide clear instructions and guidance
  • Monitor progress to ensure deadlines and budgets are met
  • Review and sign off audit sections before submission for senior review
  • Conduct final analytical reviews and draft client communications
  • Prepare or review financial statements and summarise key client issues
  • Provide technical advice and training to junior staff to enhance team effectiveness
  • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and complete review forms

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearly qualified) with relevant practice experience
  • 2-3 years of auditing experience with strong technical knowledge
  • Competent in planning, analysis, and audit completion
  • Familiarity with Excel, Word, and ideally CaseWare
  • Proven ability to supervise or mentor junior staff
  • Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, ISA, US GAAP & GAAS knowledge is a plus)
  • Client-focused, commercially aware, and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure
