I am delighted to be exclusively supporting a business in Leicester in their search for a Finance Officer. This is a role suited to someone available on short notice with prior experience working at a Finance Officer level ideally within Housing.

Description

The Finance Officer will:

  • Accurately post all income received
  • Work alongside other finance colleagues to ensure all transactions are fully reconciled and investigated
  • Investigate any unknown receipts
  • Post other transactions and adjustments as instructed
  • Support with rent setting and rent compliance
  • Provide cover where needed in the finance team
  • Any ad hoc duties as requested by the Finance team

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Have prior experience working in finance, ideally in a Housing setting
  • NEC / Northgate experience (highly desirable
  • Have experience working to deadlines
  • Have effective interpersonal skills both written and verbal
  • Be able to prioritise and multi-task effectively
  • Be available on short notice

Job Offer

The successful candidate can expect an hourly rate c£17-20 p/h + 3-4 days home working with flexible working hours + an immediate start + an initial 4 month contract with the potential for extension
