SF Recruitment are working with a superb business in Leicester who are seeking a Management Accountant to join their business on a full time, permanent basis. As the Management Accountant you will report to the Financial Controller & be responsible for business decisions & to aid growth and profit, preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements. The ideal Management Accountant will have experience within a similar role, have strong IT skills, including Excel & Accounting Systems.
Duties & Responsibility of the Management Accountant include:
- Prepares monthly management information and board pack for review of senior management
- Reviews entries and adjust where necessary
- Sets-up, verifies and generates payment of subcontractors
- Processes monthly cost transfers and accrual entries
- Analyses business operations, trends, costs, revenues and expenses
- Provides internal audits
- Deals with customer service requests and manage recording and reporting
- Produces interim financial statements for management review
- Reconciles balance sheet accounts and prepare/maintain supporting documents
- Makes recommendations to improve processes, procedures, and productivity
This is a full time, permanent position within a brilliant modern working environment along with Hybrid working & a flexible approach. The ideal Management Accountant will be qualified or working towards a qualification, but QBE Accountants will also be considered.
