Our client a successful Leicester based organisation are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to their team due to the recent growth of the organisation. Job Description:As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting within the accounting department of a construction company. Your primary focus will be on managing and interpreting financial data to support strategic decision-making and improve business performance.
Job Duties:- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Conducting variance analysis and providing insights to senior management
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitoring and analysing financial performance against key performance indicators
- Supporting financial audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Contributing to the development of financial policies and procedures
- A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or nearing completition
- Proven experience in a similar management accounting or Assistant Management Accountant role
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practises
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
