My client is a multi-disciplinary accountancy firm providing a wide range of professional services that go beyond traditional accounting. Offering a blend of financial, advisory, auditing, taxation, and business consultancy services they are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
They are now seeking an experienced Management Accountant to oversee the day-to-day finance operations for multiple business interests within their group.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of qualified experience and a strong background in financial management, reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily finance operations for multiple business entities within the group.
- Manage Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables processes.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports to senior management.
- Develop, monitor, and update budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and audits.
- Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
- Weekly KPI Reporting: Prepare and present weekly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports to track business performance.
- Monthly Management Accounts Pack: Compile and present the monthly management accounts pack, including detailed financial analysis and commentary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Microsoft Excel and Xero.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
