SF Recruitment are working with an excellent charity in Leicester who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their organisation on a temp to permanent basis. The ideal Management Accountant will be available at short notice and be responsible for the accurate & timely reporting of all Financial & Management Information. Experience within the charity / not for profit sector would be advantageous. The position reports directly into the CFO with progression & growth available within the organisation. Our client offers an excellent working environment / culture and are easily accessible via public transport.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monthly Management Accounts
- Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
- Complete monthly management commentary highlighting variances from budget/forecast and last year.
- Review profit & loss and balance sheet each month to ensure accuracy of information.
- Support the month end closing process and complete reconciliation of accounts as required.
- Preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts on an ongoing basis.
- Liaising with senior managers to work on detailed income budgets and forecasts.
- Understanding project profitability
- Systems Development
