Our client is a well-respected privately owned £70m Turnover Group of companies operating within the construction industry ideally situated in West Leicestershire close to M1 / M69 and therefore easily accessible from across both East and West Midlands and especially so given the hybrid working offering.
As part of the companies continued expansion, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a QBE, Part Qualified, Finalist or Qualified Management Accountant to join one of their construction businesses.
This is a new and key role which will include the following responsibilities:
• To monthly management accounts and business reports for all members of the Regional Management team. Reports include sales and margin analysis, detailed cash flow forecasts and trackers, stock reporting.
• To completing detailed balance sheet reconciliations.
• To support the business in all aspects of decision making, providing robust management information.
• To assess, analyse and challenge business performance, working with the regional management team to ensure clear focus on attaining targets and prioritising activity.
• To provide analysis that monitors compliance to regional financial and commercial processes and controls.
• To provide support in preparing statutory accounts and tax compliance information when required.
• To work closely with all members of the Finance team to ensure information, reporting and procedures remain entirely clear and consistent across the Group.
The successful candidate will be working towards a formal qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / AAT) If not already qualified and have at least 1 years previous experience operating within Management Accounts, those that are QBE but can demonstrate suitable experience will be considered.
• Must be prepared to get involved in the detailed financial and commercial issues of the business with a strong focus on cost control.

• Strong work ethic and takes pride in achieving own goals and team goals.
• You will be an effective communicator who is able to work as part of a team.
• A strong track record of achievement in career to date. The wealth of industry knowledge amongst the existing business means the specific sector experience is not necessary.
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel with ability to develop financial models.
