The Role

The firm is seeking an experienced and proactive Tax Senior to join their growing team. The successful candidate will work directly with clients and provide comprehensive tax planning and compliance services while mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing high-quality tax advice and compliance services
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies
  • Identify tax planning opportunities for clients and implement effective strategies
  • Communicate directly with clients to build strong professional relationships
  • Liaise with HMRC on clients' behalf to resolve queries
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Stay current with tax legislation changes and apply them appropriately
Requirements
  • Qualified or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CTA, or ATT)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in tax compliance and advisory work
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
  • Experience with tax software (preferred)
