Accounts Assistant/Accountant - Leicester (Hybrid after probation) - Up to £35,000 per annum

A leading and creative organisation is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant/Accountant (depending on experience) to join their team welcoming team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment while ensuring the financial accuracy and compliance of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, reconcile, and analyse monthly management accounts.
  • Complete monthly tasks to include, accruals, and prepayments, reconciliations and balance sheets.
  • Assist in producing financial.
  • Drive accounting quality, financial control, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with ad-hoc duties as needed, including covering workload within the wider team.

Required Skills:

  • Part-qualified or intending to become qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Experience working within a fast paced role (hospitality, retail, manufacturing, etc).
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Enjoy solving problems and proactively engaging with others.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Good time management skills, able to prioritize effectively under pressure.
