Accounts Assistant | Hybrid | Permanent | Competitive Salary

Macildowie are working with a well-established and growing business to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers a hybrid working model (3 days in the office) and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic finance operations team.

The Role

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in the Finance Operations team, supporting cash management, reconciliations, and financial administration. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Daily cashiering and reconciliations across multiple bank accounts.
  • Reducing unallocated cash balances.
  • Managing Cash Collateral deposits, including account management and bookkeeping.
  • Performing month-end duties such as reconciliations and reporting.
  • Processing monthly commission payments to brokers and handling related queries.
  • Providing support for ad hoc finance tasks as required.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a cashiering or finance administration role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of double-entry accounting.
  • Experience in cash allocation and reconciliation.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
