Finance Assistant
The Role
Sitting within our Finance team, this role will support the team on variuous fronts, ensuring key tasks are carried out in an efficient and effective manner to continue to deliver a robust and reliable finance service, both internally and externally.
The main responsibilities include:
- Processing of purchase and sales ledger transactions, ensuring accurate allocations of costs within the accounts.
- Assisting with month end balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset transactions
- Assisting with stock transactions, ensuring accurate data is held within MRP and financial systems.
- Working with Finance Manager on projects to aid process improvements with the finance team and wider business.

About You
The role calls for somebody with a naturally inquisitive mind, a thirst to drive continuous improvement and experience of working within fast paced environments.
Key Essential Criteria:
- AAT Qualified or Part qualified
- Excellent IT skills, ideally within Excel.
- Solutions-focused mind.
- Great communication skills
Desirable but not essential:
- Knowledge of Sage200 would be advantageous.
- Food industry experience
