Job Title: Call Handler & Administrative Assistant

Contract Details: Temporary, 8 weeks

Pay: £12.32 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing accurate information on our client's wide range of services.
  • Direct customers to the appropriate department or resource within our client's organisation.
  • Handle website and email enquiries promptly, arranging service assessments.
  • Efficiently schedule staff and services using the rostering system.
  • Coordinate appointments and liaise with both customers and staff.
  • Assist with day-to-day administration, including data entry, service bookings, and invoice queries.
  • Maintain an organised filing system for easy accessibility.

Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Empathy and patience when assisting older individuals.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanour with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive attitude with problem-solving skills.
