Are you a Project Design Engineer with a proven track record in designing special purpose machinery, who thrives on solving complex problems and managing multiple engineering projects? In this role, the Project Design Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design of machinery, producing detailed and assembly drawings, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will collaborate with various departments, including R&D, sales, and production, to deliver innovative engineering solutions that meet client specifications

The ideal Project Design Engineer is a skilled problem-solver with experience in special-purpose machinery design and proficiency in 3D CAD software. They are highly organized, able to manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively across teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions.

The Role:

• Top-level design of machinery to meet specifications.
• Produce detailed and assembly drawings.
• Perform machinery design calculations.
• Manage project budgets and timelines in coordination with purchasing and production departments.

The Person:

• Background in special-purpose machinery, turnkey engineering solutions, or bespoke engineering machinery
• Proficiency in 3D CAD packages, ideally SolidWorks.
• Full driving license
