Quality Engineer

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with our Quality Management System and supporting our ISO 9001 accreditation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and assist in the ISO 9001 accreditation and audit processes
  • Manage and utilise the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) system effectively.
  • Create and maintain project control plans and associated documentation to support quality objectives
  • Engage in customer management and problem-solving to address quality-related issues.
  • Interpret and understand engineering drawings to ensure product quality meets specifications.
  • Apply knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) in project development.
  • Utilise root cause analysis methods, including 8D and 5 Whys, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in quality engineering or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
  • Strong understanding of quality control tools and techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer management.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
