We are looking to recruit a Junior Designer for our client based in Leicester, Leicestershire.

Salary: 25-28,000 per annum depending on experience

Location: Leicester

About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple product areas.

Conduct trend research and assist in the creation of mood boards

Help compile shop reports and photograph and track shopping samples

Assist the Head of design and Senior Designer on a range of projects

Contribute to the design process across various product categories

Create detailed CAD designs using Adobe Illustrator

Prepare detailed and accurate tech packs for approved designs to be sent to factories

Liaise with factories to resolve design and production queries to ensure a smooth design process

About you:

Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative suite in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop

Strong eye for detail and understanding of fashion trends

Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and factories

A proactive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Design degree in fashion is preferable, but not essential if have a proven design background from previous roles
