Senior Architectural Technologist

Our client, a successful architectural practice, with over 50 years of history and a number of offices across the UK are seeking a talented Senior Architectural Technologist to join their expanding Leicester office. They have a determination to provide a first-class service, which has generated client relationships across both the private and public sectors. Our client are receptive in their search, so Senior / Principle / Associate level Technologists are encouraged to apply.

The successful Senior Architectural Technologist would benefit from the opportunity to develop their experience and role within the growing team. Candidates from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply, however our client are ideally looking for Senior Architectural Technologists to work in the Commercial, Mixed-Use and Industrial sectors. You will be working as part of a small team, in a job running / production information capacity, on a range of projects in different sectors. Our client are a Revit using practice, so experience with the software is essential. This position is suited for either a Mid-Level Technologist looking for a step into a Senior role or a Senior Technologist who is seeking further career development.

• Predominantly work on, Commercial, Mixed-use and Industrial projects
• Understand production information requirements for Design and Build process
• Conduct site visits
• Lead on Commercial projects
• Produce technical and construction details where required
• Resolve problems and issues that arise during construction
• Liaise with clients and develop key relationships

• Good Revit skills
• Proven experience liaising with contractors and end clients
• Ability to take a brief as well as action the brief
• Good understanding of construction and technical detailing to produce clear and accurate drawings
• Proven experience within the Commercial, Industrial or Mixed Use sectors (advantageous)
• Follow through design work through to the technical delivery of projects
• Live within a commutable distance of Leicester
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques
