Gleeson Recruitment Group have partnered with a local government organisation that is recruiting for two x Business Analysts on a permanent basis. The council is driving a major transformation programme focused on cost savings, service improvement, and data-driven decision-making. With a significant budget gap to close, we're looking for experienced Business Analysts to support high-impact consultancy and diagnostic projects across customer and support services.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Analysing complex data and translating it into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Leading process improvement initiatives, particularly in transactional and customer-led services.
  • Working in a highly fluid and dynamic environment, supporting multiple transformation projects.
  • Collaborating with third parties and internal teams to drive savings and efficiency.
  • Supporting key corporate programmes, including EV fleet transformation, vehicle utilisation analysis, and cost-cutting initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive public sector experience - essential.
  • Local Government Experience - Desirable
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to simplify complexity.
  • Experience in business process improvement and service transformation.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, consultancy-style environments with evolving priorities.
  • A flexible, adaptable approach - capable of moving across different projects.
