Gleeson Recruitment Group have partnered with a local government organisation that is recruiting for two x Business Analysts on a permanent basis. The council is driving a major transformation programme focused on cost savings, service improvement, and data-driven decision-making. With a significant budget gap to close, we're looking for experienced Business Analysts to support high-impact consultancy and diagnostic projects across customer and support services.
What You'll Be Doing
- Analysing complex data and translating it into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Leading process improvement initiatives, particularly in transactional and customer-led services.
- Working in a highly fluid and dynamic environment, supporting multiple transformation projects.
- Collaborating with third parties and internal teams to drive savings and efficiency.
- Supporting key corporate programmes, including EV fleet transformation, vehicle utilisation analysis, and cost-cutting initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive public sector experience - essential.
- Local Government Experience - Desirable
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to simplify complexity.
- Experience in business process improvement and service transformation.
- Ability to work in ambiguous, consultancy-style environments with evolving priorities.
