Quality Engineer

Rocket Staffing is hiring a Quality Engineer on behalf of a leading manufacturing client committed to driving innovation, product excellence, and continuous improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity for a quality-focused professional to play a key role in improving manufacturing performance and supporting new product launches.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead problem-solving efforts (8D methodology) to resolve quality issues across production and supply chain

  • Monitor and reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ) while improving yields

  • Develop and maintain quality documentation including FMEAs, Control Plans, and First Article Inspections

  • Manage internal audits and calibration systems for inspection equipment

  • Drive continuous improvement projects and support CI workshops

  • Collaborate with engineering, production teams, suppliers, and customers to maintain quality standards

What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Engineering or a STEM-related field

  • Experience with APQP, FMEA, MSA, and ISO 9001

  • Solid understanding of new product introduction processes

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management tools

  • A proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
