Rocket Staffing is hiring a Quality Engineer on behalf of a leading manufacturing client committed to driving innovation, product excellence, and continuous improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity for a quality-focused professional to play a key role in improving manufacturing performance and supporting new product launches.
What You’ll Do-
Lead problem-solving efforts (8D methodology) to resolve quality issues across production and supply chain

Monitor and reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ) while improving yields

Develop and maintain quality documentation including FMEAs, Control Plans, and First Article Inspections

Manage internal audits and calibration systems for inspection equipment

Drive continuous improvement projects and support CI workshops

Collaborate with engineering, production teams, suppliers, and customers to maintain quality standards

Degree in Engineering or a STEM-related field

Experience with APQP, FMEA, MSA, and ISO 9001

Solid understanding of new product introduction processes

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management tools

A proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
