Job Title: 7.5 Tonne Driver
Salary: £13.50 -14.50 per hour
Shift: 07:45am - 16:45pm (Mon - Thurs) 07:45 to 15:05 (Friday) - Would need to be flexible on start and finishing times.
Location: Leicester
Benefits: Permanent position, free onsite parking, company pension, 20 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays and birthday holiday after 1 year
The Company:
An established and accredited ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 subcontract manufacturing company based in Leicester. We're seeking an experienced 7.5 Tonne driver. The successful candidate will be expected to work with customers and our Transport/Assembly management team to produce the best possible service.
The 7.5 Tonne Driver Role:
- Drive a 7.5 tonne flatbed truck
- Vehicle Maintenance: Arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle with the transport manager.
- Route Planning: Mapping out driving routes based on road and traffic conditions with the transport manager.
- Ensuring that loads are safe and properly secured.
- Completing delivery paperwork.
- Provide a polite and efficient service to customers.
- Help in the main factory wrapping and packing when required.
The Successful Candidate:
- Have a full, clean UK driving license, valid CPC, and Tacho Card.
- Flexible with start and finish times in the week
- Willingness to occasionally work weekends.
- Forklift license would be an advantage.
