Our client is seeking a Pastry Chef to join their esteemed culinary team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in crafting exceptional pastries and desserts, driving menu innovation, and upholding superior service standards. Your contributions will be vital in both the creative aspects and operational management of their pastry operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the creation and periodic refinement of dessert menus across various dining venues.
  • Guide and enhance the skill development of the pastry team.
  • Ensure collaboration with Department Managers to maintain high service standards.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to secure high-quality ingredients that adhere to strict specifications.
  • Keep all pastry-related equipment in optimal condition and cleanliness.
  • Enforce strict hygiene and sanitation standards within the pastry area.
  • Monitor and adjust the pastry section’s inventory to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support the recruitment and training processes for new pastry staff.
  • Ensure kitchen safety coverage in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Implement and maintain fire safety protocols and other regulatory compliance measures.
  • Provide support to team members and participate actively in team meetings.
