A prominent player in the Anaerobic Digestion industry are looking for additional multi skilled Maintenance Technicians.

They are a booming business working with companies looking to reduce their scope 1 emissions, and to offset their remaining emissions. They offer carbon neutral or negative biomethane (green gas) to decarbonise gas or heat networks.

They are a highly experienced developer and operator of Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plants across the UK and employ multiple Maintenance Technicians to service these plants.

Their plants convert a wide range of feedstocks into clean, renewable energy, through a process of anaerobic digestion which produces biogas. Biogas can either be used to generate green electricity or upgraded into biomethane and injected in to the UKs national gas network.

As a Maintenance Technician, youll be part of their engineering team, which is one of the largest Anaerobic Digestion teams in the UK made up of over 160 people that span production, scheduled maintenance and unplanned engineering.

What the Maintenance Technician will be doing:

Carrying out fault finding and repairs on Electrical and Mechanical plant, such as pumps, motors, compressors and PLCs

Travelling to various sites across your designated patch South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire

Responding to breakdowns and carrying out fault finding on Anaerobic Digestion (AD) sites

Planning and implementation of planned preventative maintenance to ensure full plant efficiency

Supervision of third-party contractors on site

The experience were looking for:

Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ/BTEC/HNC/Apprenticeship)

Previous experience within a Process Environment such as water treatment, food processing plant, chemical plant etc

The ability to work an out of hours callout rota

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role
