Our client is one of the UK’s largest pharmaceutical and chemical companies suppliers and service providers who offer services for HPLC, GC, and MS across the UK. They are currently looking to onboard a Sales Manager to support their team.
Role Overview
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing our client's key accounts as well as managing a team of 4 within the Pharma and industry market across the UK. This is a great opportunity if you’re looking to move into a more managerial position coming from an extensive chemistry sales background.
Key Duties
- Works with current Sales staff to develop appropriate sales strategy to meet or exceed company growth targets
- Takes a leading role in the Sales team to sell and promote the Services and products of the company.
- Guide & influence company strategy on portfolio & product strategy.
- Manage personal Sales territory or segment to achieve the desired results.
- Identifies new opportunities for growth with both new and existing customers
Person Specification
- Significant Experience in analytical instrument and/or service sales
- Proven knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector
- Ability to work with the wider team to ensure customer requirements are appropriately communicated to meet or preferably exceed customer expectations.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with customers at ALL organisational levels i.e. from lab technician to CEO of an SME
