My client, a reputable and successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy is seeking an experienced Chartered Structural Engineer to join their team in Leicester. The company specialises in providing top-quality structural design solutions and focuses on technical excellence and innovative approaches. They work across a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.

Key Responsibilities

This role as a Chartered Structural Engineer include:

  • Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for a range of projects, with an emphasis on masonry, groundworks, and temporary works.
  • Produce detailed and accurate design calculations, drawings, and reports.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide efficient and cost-effective engineering solutions.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct site inspections and coordinate with construction teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
  • Prepare technical documentation for regulatory and planning submissions.
  • Keep up-to-date with relevant industry codes, standards, and best practices.

Requirements:To be considered for this Chartered Structural Engineer role, candidates must have a professional and commercial mindset, demonstrated by the following qualifications and experience:

  • Chartered status with ICE, IStructE, or a comparable body.
  • A minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in structural engineering.
