ProGroup Recruitment is working with one of the UK's leading property maintenance and refurbishment groups who are seeking a Passive Fire Supervisor/Surveyor to join their team in the Midlands.
Overview of the role:
- Overseeing up to teams of 10 passive fire operatives at any one time
- Working ina range of property types including student accommodation, social housing, and healthcare, across the Midlands including Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, and Mansfield.
- Keeping track of project progress with Excel Trackers
- Conducting ad hoc fire door and fire stopping surveys recorded on Bolster app
- Quality control of passive fire works
- Managing stock and materials

The ideal candidate:
- SSSTS/SMSTS essential
- Trade background in either fire door installs/remedials and/or fire stopping works
- Supervisory experience, including:
- Overseeing passive fire operatives
- Managing stock and ordering materials
- Quality control of fire door/fire stopping works
- Experience conducting fire door and/or fire stopping surveys, including pre- and post-work inpsections
- Experience collecting survey data on Bolster app, or similar compliance recording software
- Confident using IT systems such as MS Excel
- FIRAS assessment advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of third-party certification schemes including FIRAS/BM TRADA
