A CNC Machinist is required to join a manufacturing company based in Leicester.
This position is required to work on three shift patterns.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
路 Operating CNC G Machines, ensuring that parts are machined by the agreed method specification
路 Attain machine setting skills to enable machine setups in line with Company requirements.
路 Understanding of engineering drawings, ensuring that fixtures are correctly aligned
路 Inspecting parts in line with quality procedures and taking any necessary, approved, action to resolve quality issues
路 Operating CMM machines to support inspection requirements.
路 Consistently achieving all targets (production, quality, housekeeping etc), as the Cell Manager sets.
路 Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including SOX, Code of Conduct and Health and Safety.
Requirements for the position of the CNC Machinist:
- Previous experience in CNC EDM is advantageous but not essential.
- Previous experience in CNC machining is advantageous.
- Experience within the Aerospace sector is advantageous.
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Able to self-inspect own parts using manual measuring equipment
- Experience of using machinery is advantageous.
Hours:
AM Shift: Monday to Thursday 05:45 am to 1:45 pm / Friday 05:45 am to 10:45 am
PM Shift: Monday to Thursday 1:45 pm to 9:45 pm / Friday 10:45 am to 3:45 pm
Nights: Monday to Thursday 9:45 pm to 05:45 am / Friday 3:45 pm to 8:45 pm
Pay: 拢16.95
