Following the award of new programmes and expansion, an SME manufacturer of precision machined components has a new vacancy for a CNC Machinist to join the team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines within a highly regulated industry, a strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.

Salary: 28,000 - 36,000 p.a. + benefits

The Role

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components.

Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.

Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary.

Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.

Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.

The Person

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.

Experience working in a highly regulated industry (aerospace, defence. Energy, automotive)

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.

Ability to work with minimal supervision
