A rapidly expanding SME manufacturer of precision machined components has a new vacancy for a CNC Programmer to join the team. Applicants are sought who have worked in a highly regulated industry (aerospace, energy, etc) and who are fully versed in programming & setting CNC machines, driving continuous improvement and have experience in successful New Product Introduction.

Commutable from: Leicester, Loughborough, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Derby, Nottingham.

Salary: 30,000 - 38,000 p.a. + benefits

Suitable for: CNC Programmer, CNC Machinist, CNC Miller, CNC Setter, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer.

The Role

Programming and setting CNC machines.

Develop manufacturing techniques and processes.

Reporting to Head of Manufacturing in an accurate and timely manner

Develop, mentor and train junior engineers and the production team.

Utilise the latest cutting strategies in conjunction with Tooling suppliers.

Ensure that Programming deadlines are strictly adhered to.

Partner with the New Product Development Team to ensure successful launch of new products.

Experience Required

Ideally 5 years of CNC Programming gained within a highly regulated environment.

CAD / CAM experience.

Advanced Engineering qualifications would be beneficial.

Flexible approach to workload & business needs.

Previous experience of New Product Introduction.
