Double day shift - AM & PM shift rotation

Summary

SPS Technologies are working in partnership as they look to increase their team. Due to retirement of long-standing employees and a large aerospace contract, they need additional CNC machinists to join the team on a permanent basis.

The Job

  • Setting up and run machines in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Control and adjust machine settings (i.e., Speeds and feeds relevant to individual job dimension and material specifications)
  • Inspect parts with precision measuring tools (i.e., Calliper, micrometre etc) at pre-determined frequency
  • Reading and understanding engineering drawings.
  • Follow and maintain established safety rules and regulations including mandatory wearing of PPE

The Ideal Candidate

  • CNC setting background.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, mechanical or production environment.
  • Working well as part of a team
  • Proactive approach to work
  • Working under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
