Electrical Site Supervisor - Nights
Location – Leicestershire
£450 per night (Outside IR35)
Initial 3-6 Month Contract
CSCS/ESC Card Manager level required
SMSTS/SSSTS Required
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise the installation and commissioning of electrical systems for the monorail automation project.
• Ensure data installations are carried out accurately and according to specifications.
• Enforce strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures on-site to maintain the safety of all personnel.
• Oversee the implementation of LOTTO (Lockout Tagout) and Management Lock & Tag procedures.
• Manage and coordinate electrical work in automation warehousing, ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the electrical team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to specification.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on electrical work progress, issues, and resolutions, and ensure documentation is accurate.
• Maintain a safe working environment by complying with all health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor with a strong background in automation projects, particularly in monorail systems.
• Extensive experience in data installations and electrical systems for complex automation projects.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, LOTTO, and management lock & tag protocols.
• Strong understanding of automation warehousing and electrical control systems (ECS).
• ECS Manager card or CSCS Manager
• Valid SSTS or SMSTS certifications.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desirable Qualifications:
• Previous experience in monorail systems or similar automation projects.
• Additional electrical qualifications or certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with the LOTTI (Lockout Tagout Team Integration) process is beneficial.
