Electrical Site Supervisor - Nights
Location: Leicester
Night Rate: £400 to £450 per night (Outside IR35)
Monday to Friday: 1800 to 0600
Initial Contract: 3-6 Months
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor with a proven supervisory background to oversee electrical installations for a Monorail Automation Project. Our client is a leading provider of innovative automated supply chain solutions, and this role is critical for ensuring the successful implementation of complex electrical systems on-site.
The ideal candidate will have a strong supervisor background in electrical installations, particularly in automation projects, and will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians to ensure safe and efficient system installations.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the installation and commissioning of electrical systems for the monorail automation project.

Ensure the accurate execution of electrical installations and data systems.

Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures on-site for safety compliance.

Lead and manage a team of electricians, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to specification.

Provide daily/weekly reports on electrical work progress, issues, and resolutions.

Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
Key Requirements:
-
Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor with a strong background in automation projects, especially in monorail systems.

Extensive experience in supervising electrical installations for complex automation projects.

Expertise in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, with hands-on management of safety protocols on-site.

Strong understanding of electrical control systems (ECS) and automation warehousing.

ECS Manager card or CSCS Manager required.

Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certifications.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate a team and meet deadlines.

Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
Desirable Qualifications:

Previous experience in monorail systems or similar automation projects.

Additional electrical qualifications or certifications.

Familiarity with LOTTO or LOTII (Lockout Tagout Team Integration) processes is a plus.
