Electrical Site Supervisor - Nights
Location: Leicester
Night Rate: £400 to £450 per night (Outside IR35)
Monday to Friday: 1800 to 0600
Initial Contract: 3-6 Months

Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor with a proven supervisory background to oversee electrical installations for a Monorail Automation Project. Our client is a leading provider of innovative automated supply chain solutions, and this role is critical for ensuring the successful implementation of complex electrical systems on-site.

The ideal candidate will have a strong supervisor background in electrical installations, particularly in automation projects, and will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians to ensure safe and efficient system installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the installation and commissioning of electrical systems for the monorail automation project.

  • Ensure the accurate execution of electrical installations and data systems.

  • Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures on-site for safety compliance.

  • Lead and manage a team of electricians, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to specification.

  • Provide daily/weekly reports on electrical work progress, issues, and resolutions.

  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor with a strong background in automation projects, especially in monorail systems.

  • Extensive experience in supervising electrical installations for complex automation projects.

  • Expertise in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, with hands-on management of safety protocols on-site.

  • Strong understanding of electrical control systems (ECS) and automation warehousing.

  • ECS Manager card or CSCS Manager required.

  • Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certifications.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate a team and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in monorail systems or similar automation projects.

  • Additional electrical qualifications or certifications.

  • Familiarity with LOTTO or LOTII (Lockout Tagout Team Integration) processes is a plus.
