Project Manager

  • Hours Per Week: 40
  • Location: Southern / Central
As a Senior/ Project Manager, you will be responsible for guiding and developing project teams, fostering and expanding customer relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards. You will uphold health and safety excellence according to company policies while driving project profitability and consistently seeking opportunities to surpass performance expectations.Main Responsibilities
  • Assign resources to projects
  • Develop client briefs into workable project profiles
  • Review scoping documents and specifications with Project Managers
  • Review cost plans with Project Managers/Quantity Surveyors
  • Manage design processes
  • Handle contract administration
  • Review and manage programming and phasing of projects
  • Manage project meetings and ensure adherence to company processes
  • Oversee commercial aspects, including profit plans, CVRs, and resourcing accuracy
  • Ensure all projects are delivered to high standards, on time, and within budget
  • Lead and develop project teams
  • Aim to deliver budget margins while looking for ways to increase profitability, ensuring CVRs are accurate and timely
  • Ensure company policies and standards are maintained on sites in relation to health and safety
  • Strive for a "right first time" approach to achieve defect-free handovers
  • Innovate and ensure market leadership by developing processes, construction methodologies, and technical solutions
Knowledge/Experience Required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective time and workload management
  • Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Background in fit-out, construction, or installations
  • Project Management experience, preferably in retail
  • Demonstrable experience in managing teams, commercial processes, and health and safety standards
Qualifications
  • Degree level or equivalent in construction-related studies
