A safety trainer is now required for our client who is a specialist supplier of excavation support systems and specialist products for the water, civil engineering and construction industries. This role will require you to travel nationwide delivering training courses in electro fusion welding at the specialist training centre in Nottinghamshire or on-site at customer locations across the UK. In this role, you will be delivering accredited courses at a variety of locations across the UK and reporting to the compliance and training manager focusing on providing excellent delivery of accredited courses within the civil, water and construction industries.
You must be prepared to stay away up to 4 days a week to be considered for this role.

Utilities Safety Trainer Job Overview
- Deliver classroom training courses to the customers in line with current training programmes
- Provide practical & classroom training in electro fusion welding
- Work with the training director and reporting to the compliance and training manager to delivery outstanding delivery of training to customers
- You may be required to assist and plan future development of courses
- You must be prepared to stay away for up to 4 days a week for this role travelling throughout the country delivering training at customer's locations as well at the training centre in Nottinghamshire
- To be extremely detailed oriented in all administrative tasks due to the nature of the role
Utilities Safety Trainer Job Requirements
- Experience in a similar role would be ideal but our client is willing to take on an electro fusion welder who has experience who is willing to teach others their skills.
- Teaching qualification would be advantageous but not mandatory
- Location is flexible for the candidate as this role you could be working at different sites each week.
- Ability to communicate and deliver presentations
- Willing to deliver practical training in outdoor settings
- Education level of GCSE's C or national 4 and above in Maths & English
- Full driving licence required
