About the role

We are a long-established civil engineering contractor operating across the Midlands, who is experiencing ongoing growth. Due to this increasing level of business, an opportunity has arisen for a Training Co-ordinator to join our team, based at our Head Office in Mountsorrel, Leicestershire.

This role would suit an ambitious candidate with solid experience as a Training Co-ordinator, who is looking to further their career within an established and successful company.

As a Training Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying training needs within the business and co-ordinating the booking of these courses
  • Collaborating with outside providers to put together bespoke training courses
  • Administration and record keeping as well as the raising of PO's
  • Managing Apprenticeship/T-level student learning progress
  • Application of various grants and compiling of the yearly Training Budget

What we're looking for

To be considered for this position, you must/ should Ideally have:

  • Learning and Development qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in this position or a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good Communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience of Databases
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
