We are seeking a dedicated Premises and Grounds Officer to help maintain our high-quality, safe, and well-maintained learning environment. This role offers a real opportunity to make a significant impact on both our staff and students' experience by ensuring our facilities are outstanding.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work across both the University Road and Regent Road campuses.
  • Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the college sports grounds and amenities under the direction of the Grounds Maintenance Officer.
  • Carry out general maintenance tasks across both college sites.
  • Conduct regular compliance checks as per the college’s policies and procedures.
  • Assist in managing fire, lockdown, and other emergency procedures.
  • Ensure full coverage of the shift rota, including regular shift work on a rota basis and occasional weekend work.
  • Respond to call outs as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and to be on call as needed.
