Our mission is to provide a supportive and enriching environment where every child can thrive and achieve their full potential.Job Description:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality care and educational support to our students.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities.
  • Provide personal care and support for students, including feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance.
  • Support students in developing communication, social, and life skills.
  • Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure holistic support for each student.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with PMLD or similar needs.
  • Experience working within a school environment.
  • A caring and patient nature with a genuine passion for supporting children with disabilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3).
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety practices.
