Russell-Taylor has a fantastic opportunity for Regulatory Advisor to join a growing supplement company in Leicester. For this role our client is looking for someone with experience of food regulations and experience of packaging and labels within the food or supplement industry.

Responsibilities
Support the Regulatory Manager with day-to-day coordination of regulatory activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards across all business areas.
Act as a point of call between regulatory frameworks and internal stakeholders and provide guidance and technical support.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely updates.
Coordinate and manage product approvals- Single & Multiple Ingredient Product Specifications.
Schedule updates with Soil Association- via email and online portal.
Manage label creation, review and updates ensuring compliance with both UK and EU regulations.
Coordinate translation projects for labelling and marketing materials.
Approve proofs and monitor artwork through their internal system.
Validate compliance of formulas for new product launches.
Check claims against industry guidelines.
Oversee sales banner and front panel compliance.
Provide technical advice on composite goods and products of animal origin.
Support import and export logistics.
Create labelling guidelines to ensure consistent product representation.

The Person
Educated with qualification in either Food Technology, Food Law, Food Science, Food Safety or similar.
Previous experience within industry of food/Supplement regulations, packing and labelling.
Experience of creating product specifications and formula sheets.
Excellent understanding of food industry standards.
Experience of trading with Amazon (desirable)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
Ability to cross collaborate with other teams (NPD, QA etc).
