We are recruiting for a vibrant charity based in Leicester who need an EA to join their team on a permanent basis, to support their busy CEO. Please note, this job is part-time for 32 hours a week.

Role Overview: We are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide proactive day-to-day support to the Chief Executive. This role involves delivering high-level administrative and secretarial support, contributing to the smooth running of all our operations, both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Executive, Board of Directors, and Executive Team.
  • Manage correspondence, including emails and telephone inquiries, in the Chief Executive’s absence.
  • Maintain effective and up-to-date filing systems.
  • Support all departments with travel arrangements, accommodation, and conference bookings.
  • Manage and maintain existing databases and set up new ones as needed.
  • Coordinate meetings, including AGM, Board, Resources Committee, and sub-committees.
  • Prepare agendas, collate reports, and record minutes of meetings.
  • Assist with the preparation of funding applications, official documents, and key events.
  • Play a lead role in specific projects as agreed with the Chief Executive and Executive Team.
  • Support the procurement of legal, audit, and insurance services.
  • General executive administration tasks, including managing vehicle tracking, mobile telephone, and WiFi contracts.

Requirements:

  • Strong administrative and secretarial skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in IT and database management.
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work some unsocial hours, including evening
