Accounts Payable Manager

Accounts Payable Manager - Leicestershire - Up to £50,000 - Hybrid (3/4 days office-based)

Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with a growing and ambitious organisation in Leicestershire to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced AP professional to take ownership of the end-to-end AP function, drive process improvements, and lead transformation projects in a dynamic environment.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

? Managing and developing a team of finance assistants, ensuring workloads are effectively allocated and deadlines are met? Overseeing end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate supplier payments? Leading payment process improvements, including automation of invoice capture and electronic workflows? Driving AP transformation projects, including system implementations and integration of new business acquisitions? Acting as an escalation point for complex payment queries and disputes, ensuring excellent supplier relationships? Implementing controls and governance to enhance AP accuracy, compliance, and efficiency? Providing SAP Concur training and ongoing support for expenses and invoice users? Supporting the wider finance team on month-end close and process enhancements

?? Proven experience in accounts payable leadership, with a track record of managing high-performing teams?? Strong process improvement and change management skills, with experience in AP transformation projects?? A customer-focused approach, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills?? A proactive mindset, keen to drive automation and efficiency improvements?? SAP Concur experience or knowledge of other finance systems would be an advantage
